Current projects include residential renovations throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, new construction and renovations in Martha’s Vineyard, MA, and research on the development of accessory dwelling unit typologies in both the New England and mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S.

Samantha Jaff, AIA
Samantha is a registered architect and Design Principal of Jaff Hiatt Architecture, where she leads the practice’s residential and commercial projects. Throughout her career practicing architecture in New York and Massachusetts, she has developed expertise executing projects at various scales and each phase of project delivery. Previously, Samantha worked for Davies Toews Architecture on projects ranging from custom residences to urban adaptive reuse, including construction administration for Gehry Partners. She is a co-editor of Perspecta 51: Medium, The Yale Architectural Journal, published by MIT Press in 2018.
Samantha is a graduate of the Yale School of Architecture, where she received the Sonia Albert Schimberg Prize, and earned her B.A. in Art History and Architecture from Colby College.
Margaret Mancusi-Ungaro
Margaret is an architectural designer in New York. She graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Architecture in 2024.
Wes Hiatt, AIA
Wes is a registered architect and Managing Principal of Jaff Hiatt Architecture, where he leads the practice’s housing and public projects. He is Assistant Professor of Architecture at Lehigh University and Co-Director of Lehigh’s Small Cities Lab, where his research focuses on community-led affordable housing projects. His housing research has received over $1.6 million in funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, and grants from United States Senator Bob Casey and Representative Susan Wild.
Wes is a graduate of the Yale School of Architecture and earned his M.Phil from the University of Cambridge Pembroke College, where he was the 2017 Bass Fellow in Architecture. He received his B.S. Arch. from The Ohio State University.
